The Public Domain Neural Network (PDNNET) is for newcomers to neural nets and 
focuses on the essentials of backpropagation neural nets.  Once PDNNET has 
helped you to understand neural nets, you can graduate to more advanced 
commercial packages some of which are found in Appendix B of the User's 
Manual. 

PDNNET implements a backpropagation neural network that omits momentum.  Its 
TURBO C 2.0 source code (PDNNET.C), User's Manual (MANUAL.DOC), and examples 
are included.  The manual also describes neural nets in general, has an 
example application, a bibliography, list of information/software resources, 
and presents a mathematical development of backpropagation.  

To run, simply type PDNNET and respond to the prompts.
